This Color Run in Billings Is About More Than Just Fun, It’s About Love for Lexy
Alexus “Lexy” Pyle didn’t just walk into a room, she filled it with warmth. Whether she knew a person for a lifetime or just a moment, Lexy had a way of making them feel seen, loved, and cared for. That’s the kind of person she was. That’s the kind of legacy her family is determined to carry on.
After Lexy was tragically killed in a two vehicle crash on August 3, 2021, in Billings, her family knew they needed to find a way to keep her heart and spirit alive. So, they created something beautiful: the Love for Lexy Foundation. And through it, they’re doing exactly what Lexy did every day, helping people without hesitation and spreading hope wherever they go.
One Action Can Change Everything
The Love for Lexy Foundation was built on a simple but powerful belief: one act of kindness can create a ripple of change. Lexy’s family believes that by working together, by lifting each other up, we can create real, lasting impact in our community.
Whether it’s a warm coat for a child at Christmas, a nursing scholarship to ease the financial burden of school, or a joyful community event, everything they do is done with Lexy in mind. Her heart is in every detail.
A Foundation Rooted in Compassion
“We realized that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions we take,” the foundation says. And they’ve put those words into motion in a big way.

The foundation has already helped over 40 families during the holidays. It’s awarded scholarships to future nurses, Lexy’s way of continuing to care for others, even now. They’ve even created fun opportunities to bring people together, including trophy presentations at the local drag strip and plans for a memorial playground.
All of it is fueled by love. Lexy’s love.
