Hosted by Atonement Lutheran Church, this year’s event promises an evening of connection, fun, and gratitude for the people who help keep our neighborhoods safe.
Save the Date for This Heights Block Party
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., when the High Sierra Subdivision in Billings Heights (1290 High Sierra Granada Boulevard) transforms into an epic neighborhood gathering. Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here your whole life, this is a chance to come together, meet new faces, and celebrate what community is all about.
What Can You Expect?
Get ready for an evening packed with family friendly fun. Kids can bounce off their energy on free inflatables, enjoy face painting, and explore emergency vehicles up close. Parents and neighbors can chat with local police officers and firefighters, visit community service booths, and soak in the feel good atmosphere. While pets are asked to stay home, everyone else is welcome to come and enjoy.

Hungry? There will be $6 meal options available, and here’s the best part, all proceeds from meal sales go directly toward future National Night Out events. So you’re not just grabbing a bite to eat, you’re investing in more community celebrations down the road.
What Is National Night Out?
National Night Out started in 1984 as a way to bring neighbors and first responders together to build stronger, safer communities. What began as people simply turning on porch lights has grown into a nationwide event held in thousands of towns and cities across all 50 states.
The mission is to promote partnerships between law enforcement and the public, build trust, and show that stronger neighborhoods come from people looking out for each other.
A Night to Connect and Celebrate
This event isn’t just about the games and food though those are definitely a bonus. It’s about making space for real connections. Whether you’re shaking hands with a firefighter, talking with a police officer, or simply meeting someone new from your neighborhood, National Night Out reminds us that community safety and unity start with relationships.

Bring your family, bring a friend, or just bring yourself and say hello to the people who help keep your corner of Billings strong. Whether you stay for ten minutes or the full two hours, your presence helps make this night special.
