Earthbound Cafe recently broke the news on social media that August 23rd will mark their final day of regular service. Keeping a small, independent spot running proved an uphill climb, leading founders Jessica May, Joshua Ploeg, and Nicholas Rogers to make the painful choice to close their doors.

When news first broke in early 2025 that this talented trio was joining forces, local food lovers instantly paid attention. Jessica brought warmth and decades of kitchen experience, Joshua contributed his creative flair for plant-based dishes from his time as an author and pop-up host, and Nicholas added his seasoned background in baking and local market crafts. Together, they injected fresh, vibrant energy into the heart of the city.
