From Eggplants to Egg Rolls, They've Got It All

If you're the kind of person who plans your weekend around food (no shame in that game), you’ll feel right at home here. The Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market is a feast for the senses. Whether you’re hunting for locally grown vegetables, sipping fresh-squeezed lemonade, or grabbing a made to order crepe on the go, there’s something delicious around every corner. With a little bit of everything, from lemongrass to hot egg rolls, this isn’t your average farmers market. It’s a full on flavor experience.

Rooted in Community Since 1985

This market isn’t just a fun Saturday stop, it’s a part of Billings history. Founded in 1985 by a group of Montanans passionate about local agriculture, the Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market was created as a space for Yellowstone County farmers and growers to share their harvest with the community. Today, some of those original vendors are still proudly set up each weekend, continuing a nearly 40-year tradition of connection through food.

A Balanced Mix of Growers and Makers

One of the most unique things about this market is its commitment to keeping things local and balanced. Organizers aim for a 50/50 split between growers and food vendors, with nearly all products grown within a 120 mile radius. That means when you shop here, you’re supporting local farmers, bakers, artisans, and small businesses that truly care about quality and community.

Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, there’s something warm and welcoming about spending a Saturday morning under the big Montana sky, surrounded by the hustle and charm of local vendors and smiling faces.
