565 Calls, 18 Arrests: Yellowstone County Sheriff Report

The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office released its Weekly Activity Report for the period of June 1st through June 7th, 2026, documenting a busy week of law enforcement activity across the county. During that seven-day span, deputies responded to 565 calls for service, made 18 arrests, and produced 271 case reports.

Drug-Related Arrests and Charges Filed During the Week of June 1, 2026

Drug offenses accounted for several of the week's arrests. The following individuals were booked or served notice in connection with drug-related charges:

• Stephen Caplett, 40: Arrested and held in custody on June 2, 2026, on charges of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Caplett was additionally charged under a county warrant with Failure to Register as a Sexual or Violent Offender.
• Bryan Ready, 40: Arrested and held in custody on June 3, 2026, on a Contempt of Court: Felony charge connected to a drug case.
• Jeremiah Johnson, 48: Served a Notice to Appear on June 4, 2026, on a charge of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs.

DUI Arrests Recorded in Yellowstone County During Early June 2026

• Jordan Whitcomb, 19: Arrested and held in custody on June 6, 2026, on a charge of Tampering with a Communication Device to Obstruct, Prevent, or Interfere with a Criminal Offense Report.
