If you live in Yellowstone County, you know our sheriff’s deputies stay busy, but looking at last week’s arrest log really shows just how much they handle in a single stretch.

Between December 1 and December 7, 2025, deputies dealt with everything from DUIs to drug cases to partner-family member assault and several contempt-of-court arrests. Here’s the complete list of who was arrested, what they were charged with.

Contempt of Court Cases Spanned Several Ages and Dates

A handful of people were arrested for failing to comply with the court system:
• Laura Selles, 39, was arrested for Contempt of Court (Misdemeanor) on December 3.
• Alexander Willett, 34, was taken into custody for Contempt of Court (Misdemeanor) on December 2.
• Jeffrey Powell, 53, was arrested for the same charge on December 3.
• Elizabeth Pacheco-Raty, 47, also received a Contempt of Court (Misdemeanor) charge on December 4.

Theft and Fugitive Arrests Added to a Busy Start of the Week

Two arrests early in the week stood out:
• Brittany Bentham, 36, received a Notice to Appear for Theft $1500–$5000 (1st Offense).
• Justin Barrington, 33, was arrested as a Fugitive From Justice on December 1.

DUIs Remain a Regular Challenge for Deputies

Several DUI arrests were recorded, including both repeat and first-time offenses:
• Caleb Doyle, 22, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs – 2nd Offense.
• Jeannie Schweigert, 36, was arrested for DUI - 1st Offense on December 2.
• Cecilio Diaz, 71, received a Notice to Appear for DUI - 2nd Offense on December 6.

Multiple Charges Filed Against Several Individuals

Some individuals had multiple charges stacked from the same incident:

Oscar Melgar, 30, was arrested on four charges:
• Assault on a Peace Officer / Judicial Officer - Bodily Injury
• Assault With Bodily Injury
• Obstructing a Peace Officer or Public Servant
• Resisting Arrest

Bryan Redlich, 43, was arrested on two PFMA-related charges:
• Partner or Family Member Assault - Bodily Injury (2nd Offense)
• PFMA - Causing Reasonable Apprehension of Bodily Injury (2nd Offense)

Drug-Related Arrests Show Up Throughout the Week

Drug possession and paraphernalia cases were another recurring category:
• Jade Allen, 29, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and separately for Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
• Elizabeth Pacheco-Raty, 47, received Notices to Appear for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia.
• Jon Baugus, 33, was arrested on December 5 for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs.
• Roger Petty, 43, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and appears again in the log for additional charges on the same date.
