The Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly activity report for January 5 through January 11, 2026. During that seven-day stretch, deputies responded to 498 calls for service, made 15 arrests, and completed 275 case reports.

As with all arrest reports, some individuals were taken into custody while others were issued a Notice to Appear, depending on the circumstances of the case.

DUI and Impaired Driving Cases

Several cases during the week involved allegations of impaired driving, including repeat offenses.

Assault and Family-Related Incidents

Deputies also responded to multiple incidents involving alleged assaults, including partner or family member cases.

  • Daniel Barth, 58: Assault with a weapon (Notice to Appear)
  • Daniel Barth, 58: Criminal mischief under $1,500 (Notice to Appear)

Drug-Related Arrests

Drug offenses made up a noticeable portion of the week’s arrests, including possession and intent to distribute.
