
Yellowstone County Weekly Arrest Log: 13 Taken Into Custody
For the week of March 16 through March 22, 2026, the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office reported 516 calls for service, 13 arrests, and 284 case reports written. While those top-line numbers are attention-grabbing on their own, the arrest log gives a closer look at the kinds of cases deputies were handling across the county.
This week’s report includes a mix of DUI-related arrests, drug charges, contempt of court cases, obstruction charges, partner or family member assault allegations, criminal mischief, and warrant-related offenses.
DUI Related Arrests Made Up A Big Part Of The Week
Several of the charges listed in the report were tied to alleged impaired driving offenses, including some more serious aggravating circumstances.
Joshua Clunie, 50, was arrested on March 16, 2026, at 2:05 a.m. and was listed as in custody for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, 4th or Subsequent Offense.
Karli Vanatta, 19, received a notice to appear after being charged on March 17, 2026, at 3:39 p.m. with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, 2nd Offense.
Lakeema Williams, 24, was arrested on March 18, 2026, at 11:55 p.m. and listed as in custody on multiple charges connected to the same incident. Those charges included Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, 2nd Offense, Criminal Child Endangerment (DUI & A Child), Drive a Motor Vehicle While Revoked, Suspended, Improper Child Restraints, and Operate Without Liability Insurance, 1st Offense.
Jarrett Gunther, 28, was arrested on March 22, 2026, at 3:37 a.m. and listed as in custody for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, 1st Offense.
Matthew Twomey, 46, was arrested on March 22, 2026, at 10:47 p.m. and was also listed as in custody for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, 1st Offense.
One Arrest Involved An Alleged Assault On A Minor
The report also included an arrest tied to an assault allegation involving a weapon.
Larissa Littlelight, 30, received a notice to appear after being charged on March 17, 2026, at 5:01 p.m. with Assault on a Minor under the incident type Assault Other Weapon.
Criminal Mischief Case Involved Rental Property Damage
A criminal mischief charge was also included in the weekly report.
Justin Michael, 39, received a notice to appear after being charged on March 20, 2026, at 1:45 p.m. with Creating Damage to Rental Property.
Drug Charges Appeared In The Weekly Arrest Log
Drug-related offenses also showed up in this week’s report.
Stevie Rounds, 38, was arrested on March 16, 2026, at 9:28 a.m. and listed as in custody for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs.
That same date and time, Stevie Rounds was also charged with Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and remained listed as in custody.
Contempt Of Court Charges Were Listed Twice
Two separate misdemeanor contempt-of-court charges appeared in the report.
Karli Vanatta, 19, was arrested on March 17, 2026, at 4:50 a.m. and listed as in custody for Contempt of Court (Misdemeanor).
Daniel Hendrickson, 42, was arrested on March 17, 2025, at 10 p.m. and listed as in custody for Contempt of Court (Misdemeanor). However, the sheet also shows a “case occurred through date” of August 21, 2025, at 12:59 a.m., indicating a date discrepancy in the report.
Obstruction Charges Came Out Of The Same Incident
The weekly log also shows two charges filed against the same person for obstructing law enforcement.
Taysha Littlelight, 19, was arrested on March 21, 2026, at 5:35 a.m. and listed as in custody for Obstructing a Peace Officer or Other Public Servant.
The same arrest entry also shows Taysha Littlelight charged with Resisting Arrest, also on March 21, 2026, at 5:35 a.m., with a status of in custody.
Partner Or Family Member Assault Charges Were Filed
The report includes two serious domestic violence-related charges tied to one arrest.
Kevin Cook, 50, was arrested on March 22, 2026, at 12:20 a.m. and listed as in custody for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, PFMA.
That same incident also resulted in a second charge against Kevin Cook for Strangulation of Partner or Family Member, 1st Offense Threat/Neck, with the same arrest date, time, and custody status.

Warrant Service Arrests Involved Sex Offender Registration Charges
Two arrests listed under warrant service involved the same alleged offense.
Douglas Havlik, 54, was arrested on March 18, 2026, at 1:45 p.m. and listed as in custody for Failure to Register as a Sexual or Violent Offender.
Anthony Leyva, 62, was arrested on March 18, 2026, at 3 p.m. and was also listed as in custody for Failure to Register as a Sexual or Violent Offender.
