UPDATE: The Billings Police Department reports that at 7:22 p.m., the two missing boys, along with a third, were found by first responders over a mile away from their last known location in the Heights. All three children were in good health and spirits. While the investigation into potential guardian negligence will continue, the boys have been safely returned to their parents.

The Police Department extends a heartfelt thank you to the many citizens who volunteered to help search the neighborhoods, as well as MHP, YCSO, and the Billings Fire Department.

ORIGINAL STORY:  The Billings Police Department is actively searching for two missing seven-year-old boys, Kade Gribble and Mikah Murray. The boys were last seen playing near the big ditch in the area of Babcock and Wicks Lane in the Heights, a place known to be frequented by local children.

Clues Found Near the Ditch
Authorities discovered one of the boys' bicycles and pieces of clothing near the ditch, heightening concerns about their safety and prompting an urgent search operation.

Description of Mikah Murray
Mikah Murray is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes. He weighs approximately 60 pounds and stands around 4 feet tall. His friend, Kade Gribble, has not yet had a full description released, but both boys are the same age and were together when they went missing.

Police Call for Public Assistance
Lt. Becker of the Billings Police Department is asking for the public’s help. Community members available to assist in the search are encouraged to do so, particularly in and around the ditch area where the boys were last seen.
