A small plane crash at the Kalispell City Airport sent emergency crews racing to the scene Monday afternoon. The crash happened at the airport’s location on Highway 93 South, and while the incident was dramatic, officials confirmed there were no fatalities. The resulting fire has since been contained.

Two Treated for Minor Injuries

Kalispell Fire Chief Jay Hagen told MTN News that two people were treated for minor injuries following the crash. Four passengers were able to get out of the plane safely before flames spread. Fortunately, no one was injured on the stationary plane that the crashed aircraft struck.

Kalispell Police and Fire crews were joined by Evergreen Fire, Smith Valley Fire, and Whitefish Fire in responding to the scene. Together, they worked quickly to put out the fire and secure the area.
