Courageous Marine Stu Scheller Headlining Events in Bozeman, MT

I first got wind that this courageous Marine would be coming to Bozeman, Montana earlier this year. A Marine Corps veteran friend of mine, Steve Rast, told me how Stu Scheller would be headlining this year's Marine Corps Ball.

It is now official. Lt. Col Stuart Scheller will be here in Montana this November. You're gonna want to act fast to get your tickets for the Marine Corps Ball in Bozeman. There's also an additional opportunity to hear him speak the night before at Montana State University.

Lt. Col. Scheller is the bold leader who stood up after the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle and uttered these words in a viral video: "I have been fighting for 17 years. I am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders: I demand accountability." Lt. Col. Scheller later authored this book- Crisis of Command: How We Lost Trust and Confidence in America's Generals and Politicians.

Lt Col Scheller, a man with multiple combat decorations from the global war on terrorism, and a masters in military science, wants to engage the MSU Community about moral courage. His story will be framed through the decisions made at the National Security Council leading to the collapse and withdrawal from Afghanistan. Lt Col Scheller, a sitting battalion commander at the time, posted a video asking for accountability of his senior leaders the day of the suicide attack at the Abbey Gate killing the lives of 13 service members. The fallout of posting that video led to him being relieved of command, having his mental health questioned and screened, solitary imprisonment, and discharge from the service three years short of his retirement.
