Have a Fantastic Holiday Affair in Billings November 2
Gratitude in Action is hosting its annual Holiday Affair on November 2, 2024, at the historic Billings Depot. This fantastic fundraiser promises a fun-filled day of fashion, art, food, and community engagement from 11 am to 5 pm.
From its thrift store at the western end of Minnesota Avenue to its various recovery outreach programs, Gratitude in Action, or GIA, is a local non-profit dedicated to helping individuals who are overcoming substance addiction.
Some of GIA's services include the Sober Living Ignatia's House, work initiatives like coordinating with Recovery Friendly employment opportunities, and helping those in recovery secure safe housing with its Prosper Homes initiatives.
Substance addiction is a real problem in Montana. We have one of the highest rates of alcoholism and DUIs in the nation. Fentanyl, opioid, and methamphetamine addictions are far too prevalent. GIA works hard to help those who seek help get the services they need to succeed.
The Holiday Affair is one of Gratitude in Action's biggest fundraisers.
The Holiday Affair is a fundraiser, yes, but two events are free. Everyone is invited to come check out The Makers Market and the Recover Art Show at the Depot. The Makers Market showcases talented local artisans with unique, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
The free Recovery Art Show exhibit is from 11 am to 5 pm and will feature thought-provoking art in various mediums created by artists passionate about recovery. GIA currently has a call for artists. Please reach out to them HERE if you'd like more information.
Get tickets or tables for the Style Show.
Doors open for the Style Show at 1 PM, with the event from 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Individual tickets are $50, or you can purchase tables for 8 for $400. Various sponsorship packages are available too, with lots of nice perks for sponsor tables. Find more info HERE.
