If you’re in Billings and could use a little help stretching your grocery budget, Meadow Gold Dairy is stepping up in a big way. This Friday, November 7, they’ll be hosting a Free Milk Giveaway right in their own parking lot. It’s their way of saying, “We’ve got you,” to local families feeling the pinch right now.

When and Where to Pick Up Your Free Milk

The giveaway happens from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until all the milk is gone, at 109 South 28th Street and Broadway, right at the Meadow Gold Dairy plant. You don’t need to bring anything or sign up in advance. Just swing by, pop your trunk, and the team will load you up with fresh, nutritious Montana milk.

Why Meadow Gold Is Doing This

With the struggles that people in our communities are dealing with right now, we decided that this would be a good time to help by sharing some of the nutritious Montana Milk we produce,” said Ben Reichenbach, Plant Manager for Dairy Farmers of America. It’s a simple act of kindness, but one that can make a big difference, especially when grocery prices keep climbing and every bit of help counts.

What Happens to Leftover Milk

Any milk not distributed by the end of the event won’t go to waste. Meadow Gold will donate what’s left to the local Food Bank, so families who couldn’t make it to the giveaway will still benefit. It’s all part of their mission to make sure everyone in the community has access to wholesome, local dairy.
