The Billings Police Department confirms that Donna has been found safe in another state and is currently with authorities. The investigation into her non-custodial abduction is still ongoing, and criminal charges may be pursued. The BPD thanks everyone who provided tips and assistance during the search.

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 10:55 a.m., the Billings Police Department (BPD) responded to a report of a missing person. The case involves 76-year-old Donna Prescott, who was taken from her living facility without authorization.
Unauthorized Removal from Care Facility
Donna Prescott was reportedly taken from her residence located in the 3100 block of Avenue C on June 1, 2025, around 4:00 p.m. The individuals responsible for removing her are non-guardian family members, which means they do not have legal authority over her care or whereabouts.
Vehicle Also Taken During Incident
Along with Donna, her vehicle was also taken. The missing vehicle is a 2004 red Chrysler Town and Country with Montana license plate number 3-62579C. Authorities are actively searching for both Donna and the vehicle.
Power of Attorney Notified and Report Made
The living facility contacted Donna’s designated Power of Attorney at 10:55 a.m. on June 2, who then promptly reported the situation to law enforcement.

Suspected Companions and Last Known Location
Donna is believed to be with Kit Donley and Tama LaRay Donley, who are currently persons of interest in this case. She was last seen with Tama LaRay Donley this morning, June 2, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Rapid City Police Department has been notified and is assisting with the investigation.
