A 14-year-old boy died after being shot at a residence in the 800 block of Howard Avenue, according to a press release from the Billings Police Department.

Fatal Howard Avenue Shooting Details

Police were called to the scene at approximately 9:28 p.m. on July 19. When officers arrived, they found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where medical personnel later pronounced him deceased.

Billings Police Investigation Status and Public Safety Update

As of the release, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The Billings Police Department states that all individuals involved have been accounted for and that there is no threat to the public. No charges have been filed at this time. The case remains an active investigation, identified by the department as Case Number C&O 26-46841. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
