Explore Gems, Fossils, and Crystals at Billings Mineral Show

If you love gems, minerals, fossils, crystals, or just anything that sparkles, the Billings Gem and Mineral Show is the place to be. This family friendly event takes over the MetraPark pavilion for a full weekend of fun on Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, September 21, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Affordable Admission and Free Perks for Families

Admission is just $5 for adults (ages 13 and up), and every paid admission comes with a free tote bag while supplies last, perfect for carrying your new treasures. Kids 12 and under get in free and receive two activity tickets to kick off their adventure. Extra activity tickets are only $1 each, so there’s plenty of room for fun without breaking the bank.

Vendors, Exhibits, and Hands-On Demonstrations Await

There will be no shortage of excitement once you step inside. Explore rows of vendors selling jewelry, gems, fossils, crystals, and unique minerals from all over. Try your luck at raffle prizes or browse the silent auction. Crowds are part of the fun, but if you prefer a quieter shopping experience, organizers recommend visiting Sunday morning between 10:00 a.m. and noon, the slowest hours of the show. And a friendly reminder: please don’t touch items unless you’re planning to buy them, and keep an eye on kids so everyone can enjoy the event safely.
