Join the Conversation at Billings’ Disability Awareness Forum
AccessBillings is excited to welcome you to the 2025 Biannual Disability Awareness Forum happening Friday, July 25th. It’s a special community event designed to bring people together to share, learn, and grow around disability awareness and inclusion. If you care about making Billings a more accessible and welcoming city, this is the place to be.
When and Where to Show Up
Mark your calendar for July 25th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event takes place at the Billings United Way building at 2173 Overland Avenue. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., so you can arrive a little early to get settled. Parking is free and plenty, so no worries about that.
Real Stories, Real Impact
One of the highlights of this forum is hearing from local people sharing their lived experiences with disabilities. These stories bring real perspective on what accessibility challenges still exist here in Billings and why they matter. Listening to these voices helps us all understand better and build empathy.
Engaging Panels and Community Resources
The forum includes panel discussions featuring community changers and advocates who are actively working to improve accessibility. Plus, there will be tables set up with local organizations offering resources and tools you can use to support inclusion in your own life or work. Whether you’re a professional, caregiver, self-advocate, or ally, there’s something valuable for everyone.
Celebrate the ADA Anniversary
This year’s forum is also a celebration of the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, passed on July 26th. It’s a perfect time to reflect on the progress made and the work still ahead to ensure equal access and opportunities for all.
Your Voice Matters
Whether you’re someone with a disability, a family member, or just someone who wants to help, your presence and voice are important. The forum is about coming together as a community to spark change and create a Billings that includes everyone, no exceptions.

Don’t Miss Out
This event is free and open to all ages. It’s a chance to connect, learn, and be part of meaningful conversations that shape our city’s future. So come on out, bring a friend, and be part of something powerful.
